The first jewels made of paper date back to 1992, and are made of papier mâché.

I like working with paper; I use newspaper, telephone lists, comics, old illustrated scientific journals… it’s very interesting because paper is not only the structure, the material that creates the shape, but it’s also the bearer of words and images at the same time; I manipulate paper and I shape it using as its last layer a piece of paper that reveals its origin.
