On the occasion of the publication of the book ROTA NAV TIKAI ROTA \/ JEWELLERY IS NOT ONLY JEWELLERY\/, which summarises the history of the PUTTI Art Gallery and contemporary and conceptual jewellery over a span of 20 years, the gallery is organising its final international exhibition:
\nIS ANYONE HERE?
\nThe unifying elements of the exhibition are NATURE and VIEWPOINT.<\/strong>
\nThis exhibition is a story of the symbiosis<\/strong> between human and natural<\/strong> creativity<\/strong> as embodied in the lan- guage of jewellery’s form and materiality. It is about centuries-long relationships in which the student has learned from the teacher until at one point, the student feels so accomplished that they run away from the teacher, even arrogantly mocking the teacher. But now, the student humbly seeks their way back, realising that they cannot survive alone and without guidance.
\nHumans and nature speak to one another with the language of creativity because it is the only one that can be mutually understood without words.<\/p>\n

The artist notices\/captures the signs that have been left and dispersed, and turns them into ornaments – accentuates that which would otherwise have gone unnoticed. The artist does this with their hands – through touch, craftsmanship, and the use of natural materials and elements<\/strong>. The viewer\/wearer sees themself in the jewellery as if in a mirror. They see what they need at that moment in order to go forward: beauty, challenge, perfection, chaos, thorns, threads, a moment of muffled silence among the noise… Another point of view. Because to see things better, sometimes you just have to look at them differently.<\/strong><\/p>\n
