What role does the jewel play in the contemporary world: in the private sphere and in social life?
\nDoes it satisfy a personal desire and at the same time it can be a tool for communication, sharing and sociability?<\/strong><\/p>\nThe invitation to investigate this theme, on the occasion of Gioielli in Fermento 2018, once again recalls the analogy with wine. A good glass can warm up a private moment and accompany the best opportunities for cultural and relational exchange, in a context typical of the Mediterranean realities since ancient times, but also an increasingly widespread phenomenon in countries that are not directly linked to the wine tradition.<\/p>\n
In a general framework, bearing in mind that the competition for years highlights how the contemporary jewel is constantly evolving, in ferment indeed, each author will present an ornament for the body (*) interpreting the theme according to his own inspiration, isolating that character immaterial that brings out the path of contemporary artistic research in the jewel, given by the originality of the construction techniques and the virtuous result of the balanced combination of concept, form, individuality, harmony with the body.<\/p>\n
The selection will respect the quality of the work and the consistency of the collection that will be put in place for the new exhibition of Gioielli in Fermento 2018.<\/p>\n
