The third workshop held by Barbara Uderzo will focus on a pair of earrings creation. At the Museum, we will observe some precious items, from the oldest ones emerging from archaeological excavations to famous examples created by Made in Italy companies. In the laboratory, the stainless steel wire and silver will be worked to create the structure of the jewel which will be personalized and embellished with fantasy materials, small elements in semi-precious stone, sequins or natural materials. This will be the right occasion to bring shells or other small objects collected during the summer.

“Barbara Uderzo, born in Vicenza, educated in Venice, and adopted by Milan, works in her atelier in Vicenza and in Milan at the BLOB House, opened in 2010; she is an artist who tirelessly experiments because, for her, experimenting is creating, and in this work process, there is always an adventurous dimension; in the dreamlike and disproportionate garden where Alice is catapulted, Barbara also walks, looking with enchanted eyes at the wonders of nature, water droplets that distill stalactites or dew that dissolves into a thousand splashes, and branches that come to life (…)”
